Lions Club recognizes organizations and community youth

The Montrose Lions Club is a service organization that makes annual monetary contributions to various community organizations that provide assistance to those in need in the Montrose area. At the clubs recent December meeting, checks were presented to Habitat of Humanity, Sharing Ministries and Community Options.

The Montrose Lions Club takes pride in recognizing our outstanding community youth.

Typically we have the Montrose and Olathe High Schools select three ninth-grade students each month from October through April who are outstanding in academics, citizenship and character. The Lions Club then hosts these students and their families at an awards presentation on the second Wednesday evening of the month.
