Third Graders Step Up to Help Us
We are excited that three first grade classes from Pomona Elementary School were able to come and visit Sharing Ministries. They have been working on problem-based learning this quarter and have been learning about what everyone’s basic needs are.
They have been out into the community to try and figure out how different needs can be met, and they have come up with some of their own ideas on how to meet basic needs.
Some of the ideas they have come up with is a penny drive, a canned food drive, a sock and mitten drive, and a coat drive. They are learning how by assisting others, they can feel they have met a need in someone else’s lives.
