Students Learn How to Help the Community

Centennial Middle School has been partnering with Sharing Ministries Food Bank since the beginning of the school year.

Every Wednesday the school brings over a group of students to help us at the food bank. These students are learning how to give back to their community. Some of the tasks they have done for us include helping our Distribution Coordinator fill food boxes. They have helped Eva Parr with our gardening project, they have sorted through merchandise that has come in from the stores, they have marked bar codes, and they have helped get some mailers ready for us.

We certainly appreciate all they have done for us and we are very happy to partner with them through the school year!
